Who Killed Alfred Oliver? tells the true, unsolved case of tobacconist Alfred Oliver’s murder on Cross Street, Reading, in 1929. Researched forensically by RABBLE’s associate artist Beth Flintoff and with the support of Mr Oliver’s living relatives, the play is a rip-roaring murder mystery guaranteed to enthral and surprise.
Inside the stunning Reading Minster of St Mary the Virgin Church, just a short walk away from the crime scene, is where the play is set. Directed by the imaginatively crafty Gareth Taylor and designed by the cunning Cory Shipp, this imaginative productions ensures that action is located behind, in front of and all around you.
